1. Inspiration

On an autumn afternoon, designer Aoyama strolls through a bamboo forest. The breeze blows, the bamboo leaves rustle, the sun shines through the branches and leaves on the ground, forming a mottled light and shadow. Aoyama crouched down and picked up a fallen leaf, touching the grain of bamboo and feeling the breath of nature. It dawned on him that modern life, while convenient, was distancing man from nature. Thus, he conceived an idea: combining natural materials with modern design, to create a series of daily necessities that are both practical and full of Oriental aesthetics. This is the inspiration for the "Everything" series.

2. Design and production

Aoyama draws inspiration from nature and uses materials such as cork, bamboo and stainless steel to give each product a unique life.

The cover of the notebook is made of natural cork, which has been hand-polished by craftsmen to retain the original texture of cork. Each book is like a unique piece of bark, recording the trace of time.

The body of the ballpoint pen is made of bamboo, which is dried at high temperature and finely polished to retain the natural texture of bamboo and ensure durability.
